Sincerely Amy Designs | Custom Product & Stock Photography

It occurred to me the other day that I had never actually blogged the stock and product images I created for Sincerely Amy Designs! How this happened I will never know (although I suspect the whole house-buying & moving was a part of it) because it is one of my very favorite sets of product and stock images. Amy was in the midst of rebranding when we talked through the props and concepts for these images and they couldn't have turned out more perfectly 'Amy'. I will also never look at anything copper again without thinking of her adorable brand and sweet spirit! :)

We first created a styled stock banner image that she could use to announce the up-coming arrival of her new website & brand. It has all the elements of calligraphy, white & grey touches, copper and teal that are her signature to her branding that Lauren with Elle & Company created for her (you can find that here). Working alongside designers during the rebranding process is so much fun and helps in many ways.

If you work with a great designer, branding or re-branding should be a very thorough process in which you consider all the important questions for your business not just fonts and colors. And while you are putting it into writing what the WHY,  the TONE,  and the MISSION of your business is and your designer develops those into brand elements -  I'm able to finish telling the story and capture another dimension of the tone of your brand. And lastly, a cohesive and complete brand instills trust between you and your clients when they first visit your webpage. Having consistent images only makes that trust stronger.

Next we decided a dimensional image with plenty of negative space would be ideal for blog content and announcements.

Lastly, as a calligrapher who primarily focuses on wedding stationary, signs and envelopes I captured some custom styled product images that reflected simplicity and subtle brand elements.

For this last piece, I had this vision of this image from the very first time Amy contacted me. One of her primary offerings as a calligrapher is envelopes plus with her love of snail mail I just knew this would be perfect.  I wanted to creatively showcase her beautiful calligraphed envelopes but also bring some dimension to the image. The succulents, ranunculus and dahlia's added the color and dimension I was hoping for and are the perfect compliment to the grey, whites and gold tones. I LOVE how it turned out!!
