Frequently Asked Questions

What is LIfestyle Photography?

Lifestyle photography is a gently guided session aimed to capture the ordinary, the everyday and real life of people in a beautiful artistic and memorable way. It tells your unique story and event.

What collections do you offer?

For more information on my offerings and collections head over to the contact page and send me an inquiry. I can't wait to hear from you!

Do you Travel outside of Richmond, VA?

Certainly! A travel rate will apply for sessions outside of Richmond.

May we do the session in our home?

Absolutely. I love to shoot in your spaces!

Do you shoot Film or Digital?

My work is almost exclusively film.

What if we don’t have a well lit home?

We will try to shoot at the brightest time of day in your house and if it still isn’t great light and you would prefer a different location- we can find an alternative location, but bad light doesn’t scare me. I’m well prepared!

What happens in the case of inclement weather?

Should the weather the day of your session be poor resulting in poor lighting or less than ideal shooting conditions I will notify you about 24 hours ahead of time that it will need to be rescheduled. An alternative date is then selected.

Can we request certain poses/shots?

I encourage you to let the session unfold as naturally as possible and trust me to capture all the details of our time together. I find that this allows me to be my most creative instead of constantly checking a list of poses. However, I do set aside a few minutes at the end of each session for you to make requests.

How long will it take to get our images back?

I must send film to a lab to be developed and I carefully asses each image when it arrives so it will take about 4-5 weeks to receive your full gallery. In the meantime I often post sneak peaks on social media so feel free to follow me and tag yourself!

How do you deliver the images?

I will send you a link to an online gallery that is password protected for privacy where you can download files and order prints.
